Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations in the hospitality industry. The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel and restaurant, including food preparation, inventory control, shift management, and banquet services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the hotel and restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, restaurant management, and food preparation
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in inventory control and cost management
- Knowledge of shift management procedures
- Familiarity with banquet services and event planning
- Knowledge of preparing food, taking orders, or in an expo position
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred
